Marine Online transacts 4 vessels for Chinese Buyers
Business seemingly improved for Chinese shipowners in 2019, leading to an increased need for a variety of vessels. Marine Online transacted a tug for a client with mining operations in Mozambique, and assisted with towing the vessel, along with other agency procedures.
Resolved: chemical tanker ownership
The tanker market reportedly improved in 2019, but not without legality issues. When it concerns a partially-built vessel, it involves conceptual and contract design. Its complexity will deepen if the ownership keeps changing hands.
4-vessel S&P transactions facilitated
Marine Online facilitated three vessel sales and purchase transactions in 2018 in Singapore and one 5,000 DWT tanker in Indonesia respectively. A 230ft barge was transacted on hire-purchase with an option for an additional year at the buyer’s discretion.
